| Step 2 - How to play
iSoccer is a manager game, your job is to take your team to the top by picking, training, and choosing
the appropriate strategies for your players and team so that you can beat your opponents.
What to do first? (Creating an Account)
First, you'll need to register for an account. If you have not done so already, you can register for a free trial account that
will last for 21 days. To do this you must click on the '-> REGISTER <-' menu icon and then click 'New Account...'
as shown below:

Step 3 - Lobby select
You will then be prompted with the following 'Lobby Select' dialog. Here you simply double click on any lobby, and the account registration process will begin...

Step 4 - Creating an account
Next you will have to fill out the details about the account you wish to create.
Enter your desired username in the 'Username' field, and your password in the two 'Password' fields provided.
If you have a membership code, enter the code in the 'Membership Code' field - otherwise leave this field blank to get your free trial account.

Step 5 - Proceed to lobby
Success! Click 'Ok' and you'll be taken to the lobby where you can play against and socialize with others.

Step 6 - Joining or watching a match
How to arrange matches with others
Once you have created an account, you will want to put your team against others to see how well they do.
To play games against others you have to click on a 'Join' button next to one of the pitches.
The two 'Join' buttons represent the two teams that will play the game, on the pitch. The 'Watch'
button allows you to watch other games in progress.

Then you will be taken to a new window with a view of the pitch, chat window, and various controls...

Step 7 - Inviting a player
Here you can invite others to play against you by first clicking on the 'Game' menu icon and then clicking 'Invite' as shown below:

This then brings up the 'Invite' Dialog. Simply click on a player name from the list, then click the 'Invite' button.
The player will then receive an invite request on their screen, and either accept or decline your invitation.

Step 8 - Sitting down
Once you have other users in the pitch (game room), you both need to be seated. This is done by clicking 'Sit' in the appropriate
seat as shown below.

Step 9 - Starting a match
Then both users must click 'Start' to start the game.

As this is a manager game, you take a high level role in the game. That is you, for the most part watch the game take place, and make
changes such as formation, strategy, substitutions. After a game, you can use your money gained to train players, change formations, strategies, positions of players,
buy/sell players, and various other managerial duties.
Step 10 - Training players (physically)
You can use the money you earn from playing games against others to train your players in various areas.
Thereby increasing their attributes, making them better players. To train your players you must click on the 'Team' menu icon and then click 'Physical Training...' as shown below:

This will bring up the 'Physical Training' Dialog, where you can select multiple players and select up to three different
training areas to work on in the training session. The total cost of the session is shown at the bottom ('Cost'), and the amount of money you have is shown below that ('Money Left'). Once you are happy with the training session settings, click 'Do Training'
and the session will be carried out. Note: Each player can only do one training session after each game.

By clicking on the 'Team' menu icon and then clicking 'Attributes...' as shown below:

We can view the attributes of all the players in the squad, and see how their latest training session has affected their stats.
As we can see our Goalie, Mr D.Leonard, has low level Pace and Ball Control skills, he could do well to work on his
Passing skills so he doesn't mistakenly pass to the wrong players in defense.

Step 11 - Training players (mentally)
Alternatively you can use the money you earn from playing games against others to train your players mental capabilities. This is the most advanced and unique feature of the game, giving you control right down at the player level. Allowing you to craft your teams very own style of football.
Thereby increasing their knowledge and awareness on and off the ball making them better players. To train your players you must click on the 'Team' menu icon and then click 'Mental Training...' as shown below:

This will bring up the 'Mental Training' Dialog. First choose a player you wish to train mentally. Then Choose an ('Unused!') mental Instruction. Next you build the instruction by choosing up to six conditions maximum. Then choose an action to be triggered when all conditions are met.
Finally, choose a priority level (highest priority is 5) for this instruction preventing clashes with other instructions. The cost of mentally training a player is shown at the top-right ('Cost'), and the amount of money you have is shown below that ('Money Left'). Once you are happy with the training session settings, click 'Do Training'
and the session will be carried out. If you want to remove a player's instruction, first choose the instruction and then click 'Clear Instruction', this will not cost you anything. Note: Each player can only do one mental training session after each game.

Once you have trained a player mentally with an instruction you built, the dialogue should look similar to this below.
From the training done here we see that 'J.Nash' has been mentally trained to run to the ball's predicted position. This action is done only when the ball is moving towards this player, and no other instructions triggered have priorities higher. If multiple instructions conditions fire at the same time with same priorities, then only one of these instruction's actions is chosen randomly!
To train another player make sure you have enough money first, then repeat the same procedure as shown above.
